Nylon Dinner

I was cordially invited to Nylon’s music issue dinner last night at the Mondrian Soho, hosted by Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine and Nylon editor-in-chief, Marvin Jarrett. The decor was simple and beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious and the company wasn’t too shabby at all. I’ve known Marvin for years now and Nylon has been one of my favorite mags since I was a teen so it was really special to be seated beside him and finally have a good chance to catch up. I’m also a HUGE fan of Florence and her music so it was a treat to meet her. Her laid-back energy and warm demeanor was a sweet surprise as I typically find musicians particularly intimidating! Also got a great hug from the talented Mr. Kellan Lutz who I rarely get to see since his straight shot to major stardom, his smile’s always a lovely one to see. Great night all around, thank you Nylon for having me! And thanks to Kelly Cutrone for putting it all together and being one of the most badass power players in the game!
